While I’m on the topic of language, let my introduce you to my favorite unclassifiable consonant, ɧ. Yes, I have a favorite unclassifiable consonant.
Generally, I’m pretty happy to have been born where I was born. It’s a very comfortable existence. But as a language nerd, I find myself wishing…
<3 swedish, I liked learning it. (probably because of my awesome prof.)
Oh bother.
I’ve recently figured out that what bothers me, and what dosn’t bother me, has changed. Now it’s like a guessing game and when a new thing comes up, it’s like ‘Oh, that’s new’. I also now speak like a teenager(which bothers me)…

Denny's
After a really long absence in Tumblr I feel the need to express my utmost facination with the restaurant named Denny’s.
It appears at first a basic family restuarant, a place where drunks are drawn to after the bars close. Looking closer reveals treasures like endless cappucinos and free wifi!
Truely facinating conversations happen there with differing groups of people that, were I a...

today.
Nothing particularly interesting today. Woke up, dyed hair a reddish brown. The oddest thing happened to appear when my brother filpped on the tv: Xanadu. Apparently this film features roller disco, Olivia Newton John and a laser light show… I was mesmerized into stupification.

Wow… Your score: 65 0 - 32 = low (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20) 33 - 52 = average (most women score about 47 and most men score about 42) 53 - 63 is above average 64 - 80 is very high 80 is maximum
The Devil's Dictionary →
This is too memorable not to repost. I will make more effort to put something more original up alongside this. dailymeh: Ambrose Bierce’s satirical redefinitions of English words are as relevant as ever, in that they nail illusions and political double-speak better than most of their imitators. They are also often funny. The dictionary contains definitions such as: REALLY, adv. Apparently. CYNIC,...

Dark
The crazy thing about night is that if you stay inside long enough and only emerge when it’s dark; it’s like it never ends…
Random.
Wavering on the brink. I wander forth into the night. What do I search for? What will I find? A glance, a touch, a feeling. Somthing will pass me by and I it. In that brief passing, a small connection. All I need to know is that the path continues on. All I need to know is that my path will one day cross that of another. Once more I breathe.

Blogging has to be one of the strangest things I’ve tried. I don’t usually emote in type, nor am I an exceptionally expressive person in writing. What I do have to say about it is it inspires you to try to pump up the wattage of normal thoughts and creatively ‘spin’ them in order to sound interesting. Honestly it’s alot of work.
Blackberry pie, camambert cheese and Pushing Daisies. What more could a girl ask for.^-^
Exotica
Exotica by Atom Egoyan is a film about loss, search for identity and confusion. The characters elicit a sense of disconnection with reality whereby the causal trauma is gradually revealed in a manner akin to a strip tease. This tease is mirrored in the main setting for the film which is an exotically set upscale strip club called Exotica. (apparently the set was so well constructed that they had...

Strange and unusual
For the moment I came across a possible internship opportunity with a really prestigious company. This is a dilemma because I have enough self seteem to believe I could do a decent job there and that I would learn…ALOT. That said I have to finish my job here first at which point I should be able to apply and have letters of reference and everything. This should be going somewhere but my...

re-issuing time
Basic concept that has applied for who knows how long: with all the spare time I consecutively have and don’t have based on the way the space time continum likes to mess around with #1- my mind and #2- all the clocks within a five block radius of myself, in which the basic principal of the existance of clocks is eluded in the fact that every single clock I or anyone relating to me looks at...

Wow (re-blogged from: this is *such* a bad idea) →
For the fun of it I figure an explanation of this statement might be in order. Someone today blogged about baking oodles of yummy looking cookies…yummy. I then thought, well, what could I possibly post up that is baking related…I mean, I havn’t really cooked or baked in awhile! Then it came to me that in the past week I made up some puffy peach pancakes, those were divine. They...

Once again I felt the need to have chrome fingernails…
Wandering whistfully through the fitful forest of essay topics and unwanted papers.
Suddenly I want to mix two wonderfully absurd ideas. The traveling party bus (apparently from Columbia) and treasure hunting!!
For some absurd reason I want an incredibly sexy man dressed in black to hold up one of my paintings…
